Lorraine Crosby Performance - SA Newcastle 20th Celebration

I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity to choreograph Lorraine Crosby's performance, which was a Meat Loaf medley in honor of his passing. The performance featured the cast of SA Performing Arts' current students and graduates and was performed at the Peoples Theatre in Newcastle upon Tyne as part of the celebration of SA Performing Arts' 20th anniversary.

Lorraine Crosby, who was the original singer on the track for "I Would Do Anything for Love," worked with Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman, and it was an honor to work with her on this tribute to such an iconic artist.

We wanted to create a performance that would do justice to Meat Loaf's music and legacy, while also showcasing the incredible talent of the cast. The medley was a combination of some of Meat Loaf's most beloved songs, including "Bat Out of Hell," "Paradise by the Dashboard Light," and of course, "I Would Do Anything for Love."

As we went through the creative process, it was clear that we were working with an incredibly talented and passionate group of performers. We worked hard to create a choreography that was both energetic and emotional, capturing the spirit of Meat Loaf's music and the dedication of the performers.

On the night of the performance, the energy in the theater was electric. The cast gave it their all, delivering an unforgettable tribute to Meat Loaf that left the audience cheering and singing along.
