Production Overview
Changing Ends is a semi-autobiographical comedy series based on the childhood of comedian Alan Carr, set in 1980s Northampton. Created by Alan Carr and Simon Carlyle, the show blends nostalgia and sharp wit as it follows young Alan navigating family life, small-town expectations, and his own growing sense of identity. Warm, funny, and tender, it paints a vivid portrait of a boy dreaming of something more.
Movement Contribution
I was invited to support a short scene in the upcoming series, working with the actor playing young Alan on a choreographed movement sequence that marks a subtle but meaningful coming-of-age moment. My role involved shaping movement that captured the character’s inner world - his flair, curiosity, and growing confidence - and, not surprisingly, a sassy step-ball-change.
Note: The episode will air as part of the next series on ITV1/ITVX — exact date to be announced.
