As an Assistant Choreographer to Jenny Thomas on Strictly Come Dancing, I am excited to share my thoughts on the latest season of the show.
One of the most highly anticipated events on British television, the 21st season of Strictly Come Dancing was a tremendous success. Fans of the show were thrilled to see the return of the live studio audience after the previous season's restrictions due to the pandemic.
In creating the Salsa and Charleston routines, Jenny and I had a blast working with the talented celebrity dancers to create some unforgettable performances. It was truly rewarding to see our vision come to life on the dance floor, with each routine bringing its own unique energy and flavor. One stand out routine for us was AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington's stunning Charleston performance to 'Don't Bring Lulu'.
In particular, I was blown away by the incredible dedication and progress of the celebrities. They worked tirelessly week after week, pushing themselves out of their comfort zones and mastering new dance styles. It was inspiring to see their commitment, and it made our job as choreographers all the more enjoyable.
Of course, we couldn't have done it without the amazing support of the Strictly crew, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring each performance to life. From the set designers to the costume department, everyone played a vital role in making this season a success.
All in all, the 21st season of Strictly Come Dancing was an unforgettable experience, and I'm grateful to have been a part of it. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this beloved show and the amazing team behind it.
