The musical tells the poignant story of the Bethnal Green tube disaster that occurred during the Blitz in World War II, where many people were tragically crushed.
Music and lyrics by Anthony Merryweather and a book by Nick Paterson and Emma Woodhouse. The show was directed by Sophie Flack, and I had the honor of serving as both the choreographer and movement director.
As we went through the creative process, we aimed to create a performance that was both emotional and captivating, perfectly capturing the tragedy of the Bethnal Green tube disaster. We worked hard to create a choreography that would bring the story to life, and we focused on every little detail to ensure that the dance moves and steps were perfectly aligned with the music.
The cast and crew were incredibly talented, and it was inspiring to see everyone working towards the same goal. The energy on set was electric, and it was a privilege to be a part of such an amazing production.
